David Morton (He/Him)

CEO, The MAC Group

David Morton is an accomplished hospitality professional with over 30 years of management and sales experience in some of the world’s most prestigious hotel brands, including the Four Seasons and Westin Hotels. Armed with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Toronto Metropolitan University, David has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and business acumen throughout his career.

In 1994, David transitioned into the private sector, co-founding MAC Furnished Residences Inc. (also known as MAC Suites), a Toronto-based company specializing in executive furnished suites. His expertise and strategic vision played a crucial role in transforming the company from a small accommodation provider into a leading supplier in the industry within five years.

Building on his success, David expanded into the luxury Caribbean vacation rental market by launching MAC Caribbean Villas in 2007. The company now boasts an impressive portfolio of over 290 high-end villa rentals on the islands of St. Martin/St. Maarten, St. Barth’s and Anguilla. To streamline and enhance operations, David formed The MAC Group, which encompasses all his business ventures, including MAC Furnished Residences Inc., MAC Caribbean Villas, MAC Real Estate Services Inc. Brokerage and MAC Relocation Solutions. Under his leadership, The MAC Group has grown into a prominent, family-owned private business known for its commitment to superior customer service and exceptional properties in prime locations.

Beyond his business achievements, David is a passionate advocate for children’s welfare. For nearly two decades, he has quietly and selflessly supported the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, donating both his time and resources to help improve the lives of children in need. David has helped to fund programs, provide mentorship and ensure that children in foster care have access to opportunities they might otherwise lack.
